The Board of Cooperative Educational Services BCCES plans to hire Sadri Singh Adhikari from India to teach social studies at Quaker Ridge Greenburgh Irvington and Mamaroneck schools through the International Teacher Program. At a Board of Trustees meeting Scarsdale plans to outfit Alice J. McHugh with a Cushman three wheel scooter costing about 1500 dollars for use by the Police Department at 3144 dollars. The scooter will speed two meters and park work in fringe areas while a second scooter handles meter repairs.

Scarsdale Village Manager Lowell J. Tooley has been elected president of the City Manager Association of New York State for 1964 65. A 1956 arrival to Scarsdale, Tooley has served as secretary treasurer and is a member of the International City Managers Association. The association comprises 40 communities and conducts multiple meetings yearly. It advances professional public administration through legislative work, information on the City Manager plan, and promoting education in public administration. Tooley, a Wisconsin native and longtime public engineer manager, lives at 111 Spier Road with his wife and four children.

The Board of Trustees has set Grievance Day for May 26 to hear complaints on the new tax assessment roll. District Finalizing Building Plan
