School Staff Changes Acted On by Board of Education
The Board accepted the resignations of five teachers effective June 30 and approved four new probationary and one substitute appointment for next year. A military substitute appointment was made and two leaves of absence granted. Three resignations stem from impending marriages and moves. Dr. Paul R. Ryan leaves for Newton High School. Elisabeth H. Warner on leave has been teaching at Brooklyn College. Margaret Drake appointed substitute to replace Lillian R. Baker on leave. Barbara Bader to join as remedial teacher after graduate studies.
