At Scarsdale High School the district re elected Arthur F Taggart and Philip W Russell for three years as trustees. The budget of 584 220 for 1930 31 was approved along with a surplus fund expenditure of 28 000 and a transfer of 7500 from Greenacres to Edgewood. A land disposal resolution set the sale at 5650 to cover a sewer cost of 650. Attendance was twenty including clerk and board members.

At the invitation of Lester R. Stewart Scarsdale Supply Company the Scarsdale Women's Club will operate the store on Monday May 19 with club members staffing sales floors wrappers and packers and a Frigidaire saleswoman. A portion of sales supports the club causes with ten percent on most items five percent on major appliances and three percent on Frigidaire items F O B price. Departments include furnishings hardware electricals toys and gifts among others.

Exhibit Model For New Scarsdale Church
A plaster model of the Scarsdale Community Baptist Church complex to be built this summer at Popham and Autenreith Roads is on display. The Rural English style unit includes a stone church and tower with chapel and 340-seat nave plus a separate Fellowship Hall with stage and balcony seating about 300. Architect Hobart Upjohn prepared the model for presenting plans. the model previously stood in Caleb Heathcote Trust Co and now rests in Angell Van Schaick.

Board May Keep Present District Lines for Greenacres Fox Meadow

Award Contract for Water Tower Masonry in Scarsdale
The contract for the stone masonry on the Martello Tower at Garden Road Scarsdale went to D. J. Tedaldi Construction Co. of New York City for $60,000. Flower Show Draws Wide Attendance at Wayside Garden Club Event
