Village Board to Hold Public Hearing on Street Opening Fees
At its regular meeting the Village Board will hold a public hearing in the Village Hall Annex on Monday night at 8 15 regarding a proposal to regulate street openings. Fees for repairs in concrete roadways or those with a concrete base would rise from 12 to 13 dollars per square yard.

Women's Interchurch Talk Links Germany to Peace and Democracy

Troop 3 scored 681 of 710 to keep the Ross Rally plaque after the April 28 event at Butler Field with 100 plus Scarsdale first year Scouts competing. District One Sets Registration Date For Kindergartens
District 1 conducts kindergarten registration for 1956 57 in all elementary schools on Wednesday afternoon. The Edgemont Choral Group presents its 86th semi annual spring concert tonight at 8 45 in the new Edgemont High School auditorium directed by Frank H Dunsmore. May 1 school elections yield mixed turnout and steady budgets
In Scarsdale and Greenburgh districts, voters approved budgets and reelected trustees. Scarsdale District One saw 272 voters with three void ballots. Berle, Johnson and Phillips won three-year terms while a write-in vote went to Fred M. Spuhler. District Two had about 48 attendees with Mathias as chair and incumbents reappointed. Edgemont Greenville district elected its slate with no budget dissent and 14 write-ins for alan contends amid general harmony.

Merit Scholarships For Two Seniors In Nat s Program
Scarsdale High School seniors Charles Maier and Stewart Reuter named National Merit Scholars. Maier earns a scholarship and Reuter an ROTC scholarship, after selection from 58 000 nationwide entrants based on tests and records.
