Two people were fined five dollars each in the Scarsdale police court for passing the signal at Post road and Boule vard. Fines of five dollars were also levied on the truck driver without a mirror and the owner of an unmuzzled dog at large. Two people paid two dollars for overstaying a parking limit and one for turning left on red. Four individuals received suspended sentences.

Butler Drives Car Skid Into Another
A sedan owned by Arthur Driscoll of 17 Morris Lane collided with a New York car driven by James Pell’s chauffeur on the Parkway Friday. Driscoll’s car, driven by Frank Barboza, skidded into Pell’s northbound vehicle causing injuries to Mrs. Pell and minor injuries to Mr. Pell. Barboza was arrested for operating a car on a non chauffeur license but was released after it was explained he was employed as a butler.

Man Convicted for Unlawful Entry at Scarsdale Station
Peter Romen alias John Wolk was sentenced to one year in the Penitentiary by Judge Charles M. Carter after pleading not guilty to unlawful entry at Scarsdale Station of the New York Central in the early hours of April 26. He claimed the skeleton key was for his New York room and the coins were change. a sawed-off crowbar was seen first at the station. Local detectives had been tracking a series of unlawful entries on the line, with Crestwood station reporting a theft the previous evening and watch then focused on cash in telephone boxes.
