Health Board Meeting Notes on Wells and Fences

The board adjourned after deciding to notify the property owner at Brooke Avenue to fill a stagnant well with earth within sixty days and to erect fences around the area. Directors voted in favor of the actions with three yeas and two or three abstentions.

Choral Club Concert Delights Scarsdale Audience

The Scarsdale hall overflowed as the Choral Club under Mr. Richards performed five selections in a difficult program. The Viking Song, A Legend, Gypsy Life and a Scandinavian piece showcased varied shading from piano to forte. Linda Marion Reed accompanied, while Mr. Richards, conductor and associate organist, plans further concerts next year.
