Capt William J. Wilders 26 of Nelson Road died November 16 in San Antonio from burns after a helicopter crash in Vietnam on November 6. He was posthumously awarded the Bronze Star Medal Air Medal and Oak Leaf Cluster for heroism while serving with the 1st Brigade 28th Infantry Division. Survived by wife Loretta and children Regan and Gabrielle.
