Brook Will Stay Says Mr Newsom
Village Manager Reeves Newsom told the Tuesday night Village Board that 130000 of the 310000 capital outlays for next year goes to drainage. Fifty thousand will go to the drainage capital reserve for Scarsdale’s share of the Hutchinson River project. The brook will remain as the drainage channel and excess flows will be sent into the pipeline when built. A re study will reassess lowering the bed and culverts to justify the 700000 project and consider postponing pipeline construction.
