War Hero Raymond Frese Returns Home For Burial
The body of Lieutenant (jg.) Raymond L. Frese is being returned to the United States aboard the US Army transport Walter W. Schwenk. Frese, 26, a Dartmouth College graduate and wife Jeanne Barbaresi of Bronxville survives with parents and three brothers. He was killed April 6 1944 in the Pacific during submarine duty. Burial will be in National Cemetery Farmingdale Long Island.
