Suit for Damages Is Won by Scarsdale
A State Supreme Court jury ruled for the Village of Scarsdale in a $55,000 damages suit filed by Mark D. Scher for injuries to his 14 year old daughter from a bicycle accident on Oaks twain Rd on June 6 1950. The village argued the road remained private property in a development and not a public street. The verdict upheld village claims and was reported by Village Attorney Richard A. Tilden.

Building Zone Ordinance Amendments Adopted By Village Board

Water District Contract With Greenburgh Approved
Village Board authorized Mayor Theodore Sander Jr. to sign a contract with Greenburgh Water District for 19000 dollars to transfer water mains hydrants and meters serving Edgemont from Scarsdale.
