Yale Names Muhlfeld Hockey Captain for 1932 Team
John E. Muhlfeld of Sherbrooke Road was unanimously elected captain of Yale's 1932 hockey squad. A defenseman and standout in Yale's win over Harvard, he also played fullback for Yale last fall. William T. McCutcheon, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. McCutcheon of Circle Road, won the managerial competition to be assistant manager next year and manager in 1933.

Junior Service Concert Scores Over four hundred attendees at the Dartmouth Glee Club event held at Greenacres School last Friday night under the Junior Service League of Scarsdale. Central Avenue reconstruction cooperation announced
At the Supervisors meeting Benjamin Taylor said the Budget and Appropriations Committee will cooperate with Yonkers on repaving Central Avenue from the Greenburgh line for two miles ten tenths. Yonkers can only fund a piece meal plan as the full project requires 319000 dollars. The committee will appropriate half the needed amount up to Yonkers share, while Supervisor Fiero calls the road vital for county traffic relief amid crowded trains.

Fire Breaks Out at Saxonshire Club Stables
A morning blaze at the Saxonshire Country Club stables on Mamaroneck Road started in the living quarters and was extinguished after three engines used over 1500 feet of hose. The fire caused an estimated 8000 to 10000 dollars in damages before the ponies were saved and repairs underway. The club, opened November 16, is led by President William H. Draper Jr and officers George H. Bernheiser Fred Hasley and George B. Clifton.
