Greenacres to receive safety study report

Angell Named Village Historian For Scarsdale Fifty Years On
Stephen Le Roy Angell, once founder of The Scarsdale Inquirer and longtime editor, is appointed official village historian by Mayor Ralph K. Rogers. Robert Louis Kuttner, a 1961 Scarsdale High School graduate and Oberlin senior pursuing a political science BS, was awarded a Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship for graduate study. Among 11,000 nominees, 1,566 received fellowships for 1965 66, with fellows receiving tuition, fees, and $1,800 living stipend. He is son of Mrs. Eli Levy and the late Arthur P. Church Here Seeks Funds to Buy Whistler House Manse
The Community Baptist Church seeks 48 875 to pay for the Whistler House rectory at 4 Rectory Lane to house its new senior minister Rev Woodrow Hasty and his family. More than 21 000 has been raised toward the goal, with about 36 000 mortgaged and costs for closing and moving. Rutherford elected Scarsdale mayor in 299-voter vote
George H. Rutherford won the mayoral race in Scarsdale with 284 votes. Trustees Allen Horowitz and MacIntyre also won seats on the Non Partisan slate as 299 residents cast ballots and two protest write ins were recorded. Rutherford succeeds Mayor Ralph K. Rogers. Allen returns for a second term as the sole Democrat on the slate.

Kane To Seek Berle's Post in November
