Scarsdale High to Add New Wing and Edgewood Renovations Planned
The District Board of Education announced a summer start for a three-story Scarsdale High School wing with offices, labs, and a large library, slated for completion by fall 1965. Edgewood School renovations will occur in two phases, starting this summer and finishing late 1964, with a 1965 start on the 1917 wing and 1966 completion. Architects Richard Heinrich and William E. Doemland presented plans. Harold Howe II explained the scope of work.

Quaker Ridge School Named to Test New Science Program
Quaker Ridge School in New York will help test eighth grade science materials as one of six New York Connecticut and New Jersey schools. The program is part of Princeton University High School Science Project funded by the National Science Foundation. Nathan Sloan will train at Princeton in August and attend ongoing evaluations in Manhasset. Other participating schools include Greenwich Manhasset Riverside Albert Leonard of New Rochelle and Rye Neck. April Deadline For Transport Requests For 1964-65
