Damages Heavy In House Fire At Grand Park Avenue Home
A March 3 fire at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Oberst on 17 Grand Park Avenue caused severe damage. Flames through the roof led a passerby to call the Fire Department at 6 54 p m. A 20 by 30 foot roof section burned away with extensive smoke heat and water damage throughout the house. Fire Chief Raymond White said the blaze started in a second floor bedroom and spread upward. cause is undetermined.
