Fined Fifteen Dollars For Passing Traffic Light
The Scarsdale police court levied the heaviest fine of fifteen dollars on Frank Gianene of Green Knolls Eastchester for missing a traffic signal at Popham Road and East Parkway. Walter H Pringle of New York paid five dollars for the same offense. Walter Davids of the Post road paid ten dollars for letting his dog run at large unmuzzled. Joseph Neth of West Post road Mamaroneck was fined five dollars for driving a truck with no tail light and one lantern used as two headlights.

Greenacres Aims At 400 Membership
The Greenacres Association aims for 400 members before the upcoming Board of Governors meeting later this month. J David Rasmussen chairs the membership committee handling applications. Eligible are property owners or lease holders north of Fenimore road and west of the Post road toward White Plains, plus nearby residents with interest in the area. The group started in 1912 with nine members and now exceeds 300, expanding from 15 to over 500 homes in its territory. Since 1919 wives of members have full privileges without dues. War Bird Captain Dwyer Speaks at Aviation Night
Captain Geoffrey Dwyer of the War Birds addressed the Scarsdale American Legion at the Fire House on Post Road. First Robbery On Parkway Brings New Incident to Bronx County
The first reported Bronx River Parkway robbery occurred early Saturday morning March 3 when Aubrey Pershouse and Pierre de Frigamasin of 21 North F street Irvington were accosted at Crestwood bridge by two gunmen demanding money and car keys. They handed over five dollars and the keys and the car was stolen. The victims noted the vehicle number and reported to Bronxville police. the car was recovered next day in New York City and found to be stolen from John Rosmer of 1745 Grand Concourse.
