Fire Damages Anthony Doll Residence in Scarsdale
A $17,000 fire at 17 Palmer Avenue Scarsdale occupied the local fire department from 9:50 p.m. to shortly before midnight on February 24. No occupants were present. a State trooper spotted the blaze and neighbors alerted the department. The fire started in the cellar and climbed to the roof via the soil pipe, with the insured property valued at $34,000.
