Mrs Lillian Sloatman of Sets Place Scarsdale takes over as village visiting nurse from Miss Renée Edwards who resigns to marry J Oakley Hobbey Jr Edwards served since May 1921 making 595 free calls including 171 in Scarsdale From May 1921 to May 1922 the nurse made 595 calls with village support costing 175 dollars monthly
The Greenacres Players contributed 600 to the Scarsdale Woman's Club from last May's proceeds. Mrs. Burchard Dutcher will announce the gift at the March 14 meeting, marking the first such donation and highlighting cooperation with village institutions.
Mr Charles C Tillinghast head master Horace Mann School for boys New York will speak on The Dilemma of the Parent at the Parent Teachers meeting March 7 at 8 15 PM at the High School He will discuss current parental problems and seek solutions.
In case of illness call Scarsdale's visiting nurse Mrs Lillian Sloatman at Scarsdale 711. She visits homes by the hour from 9 AM to 6 PM daily and handles illnesses excluding contagious diseases. Emergency calls are accepted and part of her time is spent on non paying cases funded by the Nursing Association of the Community Service Committee of the Scarsdale Women's Club. She is a graduate registered nurse.
Randolph Hawthorne of Scarsdale Troop 1 found Clifford Allen with a leg fracture in a hollow near home. He lashed the sled to a sapling, hauled the boy, fetched aid, and carried him home with the father’s help. Hawthorne, a tendrefoot and one of the troop’s youngest, demonstrated emergency readiness.
The Assembly Hall hosts the first in a series of biblical films tomorrow at eight with a Community Sing. The films, faithful to history for church study, offer education and entertainment. No admission charge. a collection will be taken. A new moving picture machine is in use for the Bible Pictures premiere.
Samuel A. Story once vice president and general manager at BE L Montagne's Sons Inc was arrested in Paris on forgery charges filed by federal authorities in New York. A former Scarsdale resident about 54, he was held at the Central Police Depot Paris and denied access to wife or lawyers.

The Village Board held a public hearing on February 28 at Village Hall to discuss petitions with 460 signatures to reclassify Heathcote Inn property and adjacent north of Popham Road from Residence C to Residence A. The plan showed a fifty foot north south road behind the current apartment and two additional units, with a wide court and a park-like front entrance to the buildings.
Mrs. Susan M. Baker of the Westchester County Tuberculosis Committee spoke to the Scarsdale Women's Club on February 27 about a new county program to combat tuberculosis through nutrition. She related Dr. Emersons malnutrition classes and reported findings from Rochester where a Nutrition Institute showed malnutrition as a leading TB precursor and its effects on child health.

A stormy Scarsdale village meeting decided to refer the charter proposal to a new committee despite opposition. Chairman Roderick Stephens outlined the study begun in May 1922, arguing the charter would keep home rule and avoid extra costs while preserving village identity and self government across town and village lines.

Henry Morgen Thau Jr publisher of American Agricultural spoke and six county-wide demonstrations on brooders and young chick handling were scheduled for March 12 14 and 18 with locations to be announced.
The Fireside Players of White Plains invite the Wayside Players of Scarsdale to join in a three play program on March 9 and 10 at the Community Meeting House Maple and Longview. The program features Minuet with Rollin Kirby stepping in for Deland and Dan Hinkley Arnold and Arthur Reese reprising roles. The Crow's Nest stars Jo Jo Scofield David Pritchard and Stewart Snelling with Thursday Night to be announced. shows start at 8 30.
