Dr. Warren Weaver, Rockefeller Institute vice president and former Scarsdale resident, will deliver the graduation address at Scarsdale High School's 38th exercises. The ceremony includes a processional, colors, invocations, music by the Senior Orchestra, solos, and diplomas presented by Archibald Shaw.

Trinity Lutheran Plans Day School Opening Sept. 12
The Trinity Lutheran Church congregation unanimously approved opening a Christian Day School to begin September 12. Rev. Dr. August W. County approves $500000 Saxon Woods Park pool
The Board of Supervisors last week authorized a $500,000 swimming pool at Saxon Woods Park Scarsdale funded by the 1955 capital budget. The project was urged by the county Park Commission Planning Commission and County Executive James D Hopkins as a needed facility in the central county. two other pools serve the southern section.

Three Scarsdale High School students earned executive roles on the Westchester County Association of Student Councils for 1955 56 after the June 7 election. Jon Kates of Stratton Road was elected president, following Marshall Braxton who also served as vice president and county leader. Robert S. Erskine Jr of Fenimore Road sails second mate on Circe a 56 foot yawl entered in a 3450 nautical mile race from Newport Rhode Island to Marstrand Sweden. Circe is owned and skippered by Carl Hovgard of the American Yacht Club Rye New York. Seven yachts compete two American three German and one Norwegian race began last Saturday from Newport to Marstrand near Gothenburg.

Scarsdale Dog Ordinance Under Public Review
