Corwin Brothers to Be Buried in Churchyard
Lieutenant Warren B. Corwin and Sergeant Noel D. Corwin, sons of Mr and Mrs Raymond W Corwin of 14 Brook Lane, will be buried tomorrow at Saint James the Less Churchyard. Both served in the Army Air Forces and died in Europe in 1944. Warren from wounds in a crash near Brussels after a fighter duel, and Noel as a B 24 turret gunner over Europe. They leave a sister Kit Corwin.

Seeded number one, he beat Donald Dockerill 6-1 6-0 in the semi finals and defeated Alan Fischer in five sets in the final. Fisher had edged Roger Young in the semis 6-4 6-4. The trophy, a silver bowl, was donated by Randolph Compton and his wife in memory of their son.

An Egremont resident reports two 16 year old boys calling at homes claiming to sell Yonkers Boy Scout paper goods and stationery on a $1.25 per box plan with $1 deposits. Names given were Jack Michel and Bob Mueller, both from 14 and 48 Peterson Street Yonkers, but no such addresses exist and the Yonkers council denies any Scout drive.
