The Von Wedel Laboratory in White Plains is retained by Scarsdale to issue monthly reports on all milk deliveries in the village. Dr R R Ryan health officer will compile the reports and three times yearly assess dairies on milking cooling cow conditions and milk can hygiene. Monthly checks will cover bacterial content and artificial preservation with more frequent inspections if quality is poor. Residents are asked to notify Dr Ryan of their dairy name for inspection.

Car Crash on Post Road Damages Two Vehicles
A Sunday afternoon collision on the Post road near Murray Hill road involved James McKean of Tuckahoe driving south and George Herfield of New York City driving north. McKean’s car struck a rock at road repair, veered left and hit Herfield’s car. left front wheel damaged on the Tuckahoe vehicle and the New York car suffered a badly damaged left front fender.

Baby Cast Into Windshield. Head Wounded in Traffic
In heavy Fenimore road traffic last Sunday a one and a half year old boy named David Brundage was thrown into a windshield and cut on the head after a line of cars halted suddenly near Hartsdale station. Tennis Club Plans Big Expansion At Fox Meadow
The Fox Meadow Tennis Club outlines major improvements including six to seven new courts a small clubhouse with lockers showers and an assembly room and a professional instructor. The Tennis Realty Corporation board led by Rudolph Culver voted to sell part of Church Lane frontage to fund upgrades with meetings set for September 9 to ready for spring. Three generations of Scarsdale residents have supported the club since its founding over forty years ago at Miss Emily Butler’s property.

Third Avenue Railroad to keep trolley lines in Scarsdale area

Stamford man involved in multi-car Parkway smash
John Capone of Stamford and a friend collided with two southbound cars on the Bronxville Parkway last Sunday night. A Nash and a Cadillac were badly damaged but no injuries were reported. Capone paid a fine for public intoxication and disorderly conduct while the friend's case awaits action.
