Fox’s Nemo Leads Forest Golf Ball Hunt on Local Course
The August qualifying round for the men’s handicap golf tournament is set for Saturday August 6. Mr. Fox’s water spaniel Nemo has been trained to hunt forest golf balls on command. Fox posted 79 last Friday tying his best score of the season. The women’s championship begins first Tuesday in September with the monthly handicap events continuing through August October and November. A new score-card box is posted by the clubhouse and players are asked to leave score cards there. Picnic Of The Sunday School At St James The Less

Albro Gaylor Russell Swartwout Walter Connors Will Stewart Arthur Taylor and George Glacius spent Monday to Saturday near Kensico Lake with S L Angell. The boys camped and became proficient dishwashers while entertaining Scarsdale visitors and singing a Yankee Doodle tune that kept Kensico residents awake.
