Liberal Party Backs Democratic Slate in Westchester
The Westchester Liberal Party on July 21 endorsed the Democratic slate for county office in the November election. Endorsement followed a Liberal nominating committee meeting at the Hotel Gramatan in Bronxville. The ticket includes former Judge Thomas F. Crooke for Children's Court Judge, Mrs. Sara L. Bach for county clerk, John A. Hoyt for district attorney, Walter A. Caddell for sheriff, and George A. Brenner for the county judge vacancy.

The Scarsdale White Plains Friendly Town Committee and Herald Tribune Fresh Air Fund welcomed 20 more needy children from lower Manhattan for a two week stay. Total 85 youngsters in 24 families have benefited this year, with hostesses from Scarsdale hosting activities, storytelling, swimming, and games.
