Picked up for Vagrancy Man Sent to Hospital
Dominick Colosuonno of New York City was arrested at the Scarsdale railroad station on July 7 on a vagrancy charge. Det. Sgt. Edwin Meehan and Pa. Theodore Lapicki stopped him as he followed a Scarsdale woman from Grand Central Station toward her home. He carried a bag with wire, pliers, rope and a knife and was sent back to Rockland State Hospital after a July 12 court appearance.

Summer's Children exhibit by Barbara Morgan at Kodak Center

Mathematics Conference Attendance Noted for Scarsdale Staff

District One Board Awards Low Bids for School Projects
The District One Board accepted low bids for painting and related work at several schools. The Ripp Co. won most bids including at High School Heathcote Fox Meadow Greenacres, while Ger ben Contracting Co. won Edgewood inside areas. North Field grading bids were rejected and will be reconsidered for 1957 58. Glendale woman involved in July 12 two car crashes
Mrs Gladys Love of Glendale Ohio was in two rear and subsequent collisions on Weaver Street at 5 19 pm and 5 28 pm July 12. The first crash involved Robert Rosenenthal of Richbell Road and the second involved Reine Donzel of Pelham. No injuries were reported.

Boy's State Delegate Elected Judge Roy Cohen at Colgate
Roy Harris Cohen of Continental Rd a senior at Scarsdale High School returned from a Boys State program at Colgate University where he was chosen as councilman then county judge. He led a two hour Grand Jury session and avoided indicting the turtle murder. He praised the event as educational and credited the American Legion. He is vice president elect of his class and will counselor at Camp Kanawha Rhinebeck this summer while focusing on basketball.
