Scarsdale residents crowded six beach clubs and the Westchester Biltmore for a holiday filled with water sports tennis and a big dinner dance scene. At Milton Point Casino fourteen swimming and diving events and a morning tennis session complemented afternoon dinner dances and fireworks. Every Thursday morning from nine to ten the Scarsdale Woman's Auxiliary of White Plains Hospital collects vegetables or fruit at the Women's Club on Drake Road for ward use. Scarsdale residents donate excess garden produce to diversify patient diets. arrangements exist to transport produce if residents cannot bring it to the club.
