An 80 year old woman in White Plains mourns her sister, Rosa Blumlein, who died after a collision on the Post road involving a Hudson sedan driven by Harold Mitten. The other car, an Overland, was driven by Jack Russo who aided the injured and alerted police. Mitten fled the scene and was later found and paroled pending medical examiner findings.

Workmen Begin Demolishing High School Auditorium
Workmen will start demolishing the High School auditorium next Tuesday to convert the space into classrooms as part of the reconstruction plan. Delay Plea On Village Finance Policy For Public Works
