White Plains Hospital Elects Three Searsdalians to Its Board
The White Plains Hospital Association at its annual meeting January 20 elected Helge Johnson a former president of the Searsdale Board of Education to a one year term on the Board of Governors and Charles D. Flory and Theodore Sunder Jr. to one year on the Honorary Board of Governors. Incumbents were re elected unanimously to three year terms. Robert S. Gordon president of the Association spoke of ongoing construction of a new wing about 70 percent complete and a planned September opening. A long range master plan and three immediate building projects were outlined along with financing plans and staff expansion. The hospital has affiliated with Pace College to offer Westchester County its first nursing education program. The hospital is reviewing employee relations.
