Man Killed by Fall From Three Story Roof
Henry Hanley aged 60 of 108 Orawaupum Street fell from the roof of Mr. Hugh Adair’s house in Church Lane while reshingling early Tuesday. He died two hours later at White Plains Hospital from a fractured skull and internal injuries. Two workmen found him in the snow and notified Mrs. Adair who called doctors and Scarsdale Police. Hanley, married, died without regaining consciousness. a slip on overnight ice may have caused the accident.

Water pressures rise as station opens and leaks blamed
After the new pumping station and standpipe began operation, village water use jumped, with two days of consumption equal to the previous three.
