Mrs. James H. Briggs reports Westchester County Children's Association efforts for Christmas gifts. Yonkers faced overwhelming needs while Scarsdale aided. forty stockings were delivered by Mrs. O. H. Cheney in Yonkers and forty-one more by friends in White Plains. Large quantities of candy toys and games were packed and sent to Yonkers and White Plains offices, totaling ninety three packages. Volunteers recruited locally, with four trips required to move everything to Yonkers. Thomas C. Stephens and spouse helped prepare and handle heavy parcels and checks.
