The Scarsdale Board of Education and the Scarsdale Teachers Association reached a contract settlement Wednesday January 21 bringing end to the impasse since June 1975. The agreement runs through June 1977 with a three-year payrise totaling 20 percent and improved fringe benefits. The settlement follows the state fact finder report and aims to end deficits in 1975 76 with possible next year tax increases. Teachers expect to ratify the deal next week.
