Two public hearings are scheduled for 8 15 p m Tuesday in the Village Hall Annex Post and Drake Ads The first proposes an ordinance banning unleashed dogs on streets and public places or on private property without consent with fines from 10 to 25 dollars Violations would be punishable The second proposes changes to parking rules on residential streets bounded by Ogden Rd Wayside Lane Church Lane Axtell Drive Brown Rd and the Eastchester line Reducing parking limits from four to three hours where currently four hours exist and establishing a three hour limit where none exists Sundays would restrict parking on the southerly and easterly sides of Rochambeau Rd

Guernsey Prentiss Dies at Fifty Four
Croton educator Guernsey D Prentiss longtime mathematics and science teacher at Edgemont School from 1945 to 1950 died January 16 at Ossining Hospital aged 54. Services were January 19 in Croton. Born July 25 1900 in Croton he studied at Columbia University earning BA MA and a Columbia electrical engineering degree. He taught in Greenburgh two years and was principal at Quaker Ridge School 1936 45 before joining Edgemont.
