Daylight Saving Time Bill Introduced in Senate

Majority Reports Set Clash Over Scarsdale Parking Land
Scarsdale Town Club will hear two minority reports on parking needs for the village in a meeting at the High School auditorium next Thursday. The zoning and planning committee and the parks and highways committee differ on how much of the proposed land and frontage should be used for off street parking with a buffer. The Parks and Highways group favors using all suggested land for parking with screening, while the Zoning group argues for roughly half to be parking and half as a buffer to protect residential areas. The village also plans a new incinerator project review and a Boy Scout and Girl Scout program presentation. The Village owns adjacent land and considers purchasing more frontage along Woodland Place to expand parking near the Post Office.
