Police Campaign Targets Defective Motor Vehicles

Three Rescued From Wreck on Parkway
Three unconscious people were rescued after a car rammed the Bronx Parkway bridge abutment near Westchester County Tennis Club late last Sunday. Driver Alfred Gurslah and two Bronx women, Anna Brown and Mildred Petzold, were rushed to White Plains Hospital with lacerations, a fractured leg, and shock. Authorities suspect blinding headlights from an oncoming car caused the crash.

Rabid dogs bite woman as winter rabies outbreak grows
Mrs. Charles Davis was bitten on the face by a fox terrier owned by Alonzo Cottier, later found rabid. Her husband and son began Pasteur treatment.
