Scarsdale PTA Seeks Gifts for High School Scholarship Fund
The Scarsdale High School PTA asks members to donate to the High School Scholarship Fund which assists first year college costs for qualified seniors. In 1956 eight of 17 applicants received grants up to 500 dollars each, including two independent Ritter Foundation and B nai B rith scholarships. The committee led by Henry Hofheimer Jr appeals for broad participation to offset rising higher education costs.

The 21st annual winter concert by Scarsdale High School Senior Band is set for Sunday February 3 at 3 30 in the school auditorium. Admission is free. Stolen 1957 Station Wagon Traced From Scarsdale to Florida
Lawrence Labriola reported a new 1957 station wagon stolen from his garage on Post Rd. The car was recovered in Hinesville Georgia after a teletype alert. Three youths from Eastchester and Scarsdale, ages 17, 16, and 15, were arrested en route to Florida.

Scarsdale Boys Plead Guilty on Malicious Mischief
Three youths aged 17 and 16 pleaded guilty as youthful offenders on January 10 for malicious mischief linked to November arrests and were placed on one year probation.
