Pipeline Buy Gets Official Approval
The Village Board approved a joint water line purchase with Mt. Vernon White Plains and Yonkers from Kensico Reservoir to a Bronx watershed. After an appraisal by village manager Lowell J. Tooley the board unanimously agreed to enter the agreement and seek a county special water district. White Plains has agreed. other cities will vote soon. The 80 year old line, owned by New York City, feeds the four county communities and provides a secondary supply for Scarsdale.

Berle Declares Salary Issue Settled in Scarsdale
