Town Club Sets Discussion on Parking Meter Plan
The Town Club will vote next Thursday on four recommendations from its parks and highways committee regarding meter ed parking. The panel proposes retaining 85 meters, adding nine more on Popham Rd East Parkway Chase Rd and Spencer Place, increasing policing in the business district and channeling surplus meter revenue into off street parking. The group notes $3858 in seven months and projects about 14300 annually with expansions. Police Chief William Short calls the meters helpful and efficient.

The next Scarsdale waste paper collection is Sunday January 23 from one to five. Chairman J Bradford Ricketts says residents should place bundled paper at the curb before one. 225000 Building Addition To Saint James Is Sought

Robert Calvert is the nominated president of Scarsdale Community Service Inc for a two year term at the annual dinner meeting this evening at the Scarsdale Woman's Club. Senator Pliny W. Williamson of HeathcoteRc introduced a bill in the State Senate to raise the education floor for funding school districts.
