Olin Foundation Gifts 2.55 Million for Cornell Medical College Residence
The Olin Foundation of New York will donate 2,549,000 dollars to fund a student residence for the Cornell University Medical College now part of the NY Hospital Cornell Medical Center. Harrison Honored After 31 Years on Scarsdale Police
Former Patrolman William Harrison retired after 31 years with the Scarsdale police. A testimonial dinner was held at the American Legion Hall hosted by the Scarsdale Police Benevolent Assn of which he was a charter member and first president. Harrison joined in 1920, served 16 years on motorcycles, and for 12 years was the desk officer on the midnight shift. his Shield No. 1 was given to Chief William Short on December 31.
