Residents invited to a town meeting on suffrage at the hall in January. Speakers include Mrs CÁulén, Mrs Fisher, Mrs Herzog, Mrs Walton, and Major Waters among others. Attendees urged to bring supplies for fire protection and aid.
Despite bad weather the Ville Taxpayers Association of Greenburgh held a January meeting at Greenville School House Central Avenue. Edward Decker of the New York City Commission spoke on general taxation and hurdles facing town assessors in country districts of the State. Members asked many questions and approved committee plans for future tax work.
The Hadley Mission leader Rev. John Callahan of New York City will speak at Hartsdale M E Church tomorrow morning and evening and every evening next week except Saturday. A welcome card is extended to attendees.
An announced meeting of District No 1 will be held at the school building Friday evening January 17 at 8 15 o clock. The Committee plans to report on matters under consideration and discussion to the attendees.

G C Pfeiffer died January 7 at Haleter Hospital New York City after a failed heart condition following an operation. Born in Schiete ditz Germany he worked in Hamburg naval yards before moving to the United States. He lived in Brookins then Heathcote Road Meathcote and was a longtime member of the Western Congregational Church. Funeral at Heathcote Road residence with interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
