Scarsdale residents faced delayed pickup as the Sanitation Department collected 182 tons of waste over a three day period after a holiday. Under Village Manager H. President J Henry Neale reported deposits of 50 639 895 on December 31 1964 up 11.3 percent from 1963. Total resources were 55 198 217 with loans of 29 623 232 and net operating earnings rising to 335 360.
The Scarsdale Red Cross calls for new blood donors with a Bloodmobile visit planned January 27 from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Scarsdale Community Baptist Church. Residents ages 18 to 60 in good health may give blood, contributing to a program offering blood fractions and family coverage under the Red Cross plan.
The Non-Partisan Citizens Committee met with 60 members to discuss procedures for nominating village officials for 1965-66.
