Hoover warns against relaxing sugar ration in war effort urging Americans to bear costs to feed Allies. Reports note sugar production gaps in England France and Italy and remind that Allied grain needs rely on U S aid. Announcement states the marriage of Miss Annie F. Fish ofsdale to Lieut. E A B Willmer of the British Army will occur in February. Willmer serves with the British war mission in the United States and expects to return to England soon.

The board also cleared town bills and adjourned after a New Year greeting.
County officials announced distribution of Good Roads funds to towns including Cortlandt, Greenburgh, Harrison, Lewisboro, Pleasantville and others. The plan named amounts for each town and directed payment to town supervisors, with previous resignation of Supervisor Murden noted.
