Christian Endeavor County Convention and Local Approvals
County records note John M. Shinn’s replacement by E K Brown as Chairman of the Board of Supervisors after an appendicitis operation. The board authorized funeral expense payments for indigent veterans, discussed increased appropriation for the Register and map filing standards, and approved funding and road macadamizing under town bond issues. The Health Board and Town Board met with births reported at Arthur Manor and Lincoln Avenue, and inspections at Scarsdale Station prompted review of bridge grade and adherence to plans.
