Peru Relics and Etchings Captivate Woman's Club
Twenty five members of the Art Section of the Woman's Club visited Peruvian Hall guided by Dr. Charles W. Mead of the American Museum of Natural History to study textiles, pottery, and other ancient artifacts. The group then explored prints and etchings at a studio meeting led by Mrs. A. Emerson Hadlock, with works from Durer to Whistler and Currier and Ives popular in 19th century New York.
