Scarsdale church community mourns Rev William C Rourke pastor of the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary after he died of a heart attack while swimming in the St Lawrence River near Massena New York. He dedicated thirty years to the Scarsdale parish and is survived by his sister Miss Catherine Rourke of Brooklyn.

Designate New Polling Place for Sixth District

Runaway Boys Picked Up By Scarsdale Patrol
Patrolman Edward Walsh of Scarsdale police halted his boat on the Post Road Tuesday night and brought two boys to headquarters. Aged twelve and fourteen, they admitted running away from home. Names given as Joseph Pawlikowski and Peter Kwiatkowski of New York City. Patrolman Vincent Jural delivered them to the Children's Village in Dobbs Ferry.

Mrs Dickinson Dies After Hip Fracture at Home
Mrs. John W. Dickinson, born October 4 1851 in Ann Arbor, died Monday at her Autenrieth Road home following a hip fracture. She was the daughter of Henry Welles and Susan Safford Welles, survived by one sister, and had lived in Chicago then Scarsdale since 1909 with her husband.

Professor Fox Delivers Address at Bennington Battlefield Dedication
