Scarsdale National Bank and Trust Co plans a new branch on the east side of Central Ave north of Ardsley Rd with drive in parking safe deposits and full banking services. Supervisors Approve Greenburgh College Site Purchase
Westchester County Board of Supervisors authorized a 750000 purchase of the John A Hartford estate in Greenburgh as a site for the Westchester Community College and for other educational and charitable uses. They also approved a 6.7 percent average pay raise for 3600 county employees, funded to raise annual payroll to about 14 million dollars. Hearing Adjourned For Casey Case To August Twentieth
The Rye schoolboy Andrew Casey who killed his mother and sister in May has a hearing adjourned to Aug. 20 to allow time for defense psychiatrists to examine him. Judge George O. Becker presided in Westchester County Children's Court with counsel arranged by George W. Smyth of Scarsdale Chateaux after the father refused a lawyer. County psychiatrists had found the boy sane.
