Undaunted by murky skies an estimated 2000 people attended the Scarsdale Day Camp Carnival at the Junior High School on Saturday July 31. The Early American Country Fair featured an old fashioned hayride clowns trampolines a puppet show and snow cones and cotton candy. Pipe Bombs Explode On Elm Road Residents Alarmed
Two homemade pipe bombs exploded in backyards on Elm Road early Wednesday August 4 sending residents from 7 Elm and 3 Elm rushing to report the blast. Police say fragments damaged a shed and doors were shattered as the devices appeared to be thrown from a rear property. Detective Sgt. Richard Freda leads the investigation and suspects the act may be a prank.
