On April 22 poultry dealer Royal J Himricks was questioned during a confrontation with Meat Cutters Union organizer Joseph Bottiglieri. no charges or police action. Pickets disappeared the following Friday and have not returned.

Character Building PTA to Discuss Home and School

Scarsdale Board Eyes New Library Plan

Village Raises Water Rates in Scarsdale Accord
The village will pay about 10 percent more for water after a new agreement with the New Rochelle Water Company. The deal authorizes continued use of the elevated tank near Wilmot Woods to maintain pressure in the east and for Scarsdale to continue supplying water to northern New Rochelle. Current rates dated from 1938 are deemed justified by Village Manager Reeves Newsom.
