Westchester County Judge George W. Smyth of the Children's Court warns parents and dealers after two cases of under 16s possessing air rifles near eye injuries. Orchestra and Band Concert Delights Area Audience
An audience of about 550 attended the Inter school Elementary Orchestra and Band concert Sunday afternoon. The 57 member orchestra directed by Francis J. Dezort featured standard orchestral works and solos from violin and viola. The 86 piece band directed by Willard S. More Residents Involved In Accidents In Scarsdale
Scarsdale Safety Council reports 20 accidents this year, seven in March, down from 24 last year. Twelve residents were involved, three in March, versus ten last year. Two seriously injured, eight slight injuries, with no pedestrians injured this year compared to three previously. Weather saw 16 clear or cloudy days during the 20 incidents, versus 19 of 24 last year.

Red Cross Opens Wool for Knitters in Scarsdale
Beginning April 18 the Scarsdale Branch of the American Red Cross will offer a large supply of wool for hospital use. Dr. Jeanne Schwengel, wool chairman, says the fibers will fund helmets mufflers beanies gloves and sweaters for hospitalized veterans.
