Grass Fires Damage Property In Local Week
Grass fires damaged several properties in the village this week. The Harris residence at 222 Davis Place suffered about 100 dollars of damage when leaves and paper ignited near a yellow window area. The next day a yard fire at W J Reed on Popham Road scorched a tool house at 14 Autenrieth Road and a shed at 10 Autenrieth Road, totaling around 100 dollars. Later that day evergreen shrubs at 103 Walworth Avenue were burned by a grass fire from the rear property of the McKennis home.
