Plans for golf at Scarsdale Club shift leadership

Scarsdale Golf Club announces changes as C A W Fox steps down as professional and greenkeeper, replaced by Alex Finlay who begins immediately. Fox, who joined in 1898, previously worked at Rochaway Hunting Club and coached notable players, while Finlay comes from Mea Brook Hunt Club and Newark Golf Club, now defunct. The move signals a broader progressive policy at the club, which maintains member-only competitions and temperance principles in its nine hole links.
