Death of Baron Scarsdale Lord Alfred Curzon 87
Baron Scarsdale, the Rev Alfred Curzon father of Earl Curzon of Kedleston, died aged 87 after months of illness. He was Kedleston Rector from 1856, educated at Rugby and Oxford, married Blanche Pocklington-Senhouse in 1856, and left four sons and six daughters. His Kedleston Hall seat is in Derbyshire.
