Scandia Chapter 481 OBS Meets. October Birthdays and Auction

The Scandia Chapter No 481 OBS met October 15 at 7 00 pm with Mrs Alva Thompson and Homer Cardwell presiding. October birthday honors and a memorial ceremony were held. Next meeting set for November 5 at 7 30 pm. Silent auction followed refreshments hosted by multiple members. Sunday dinner guests included the Cardwells and Stafford family plus several others from Topeka Manhattan and Belleville.

Weekend Visit Highlights From Stromsburg Residents

Mrs Nelson Hamblin and Bonita of Stromsburg Nebraska visited Monday with Mr and Mrs Don Boswell and others. The group including Mr and Mrs Lee Loring and C B Stensads spent the weekend in Kansas City to attend the American Royal. Phyllis Aspgren of Ropeka attended with relatives. More relatives and neighbors were noted as visiting Russell Hall on Monday afternoon.
